St. James 1868 - Milwaukee, WI

Renovation and adaptive reuse of a historic church into an event center in the Kilbourn Town neighborhood of Milwaukee. Located in a high-traffic, compact environment, the project required detailed preplanning in order to minimize disruption and risk. The transformation included installation of all new MEP and fire protection furnishings, the build-out of two new commercial kitchens and an elevator shaft and system. The project approach required a high-degree of site management to facilitate communication with Owner, Architect, and Historical Organizations and maintain the structural integrity and historical character of the building.
