Rowe MKE - Milwaukee, WI

Rowe MKE is a multi-family development by Atlantic Residential, located along the Milwaukee River on Milwaukee’s East Side near the Water Street and Brady Street corridor. The project follows Greenfire’s construction of River House and continues Atlantic Residential’s investment in riverfront housing while adding new residential density and public access along the waterfront.

Greenfire served as construction manager, coordinating the owner team, Atlantic Residential, HKM Architects + Planners, Inc., consultants, and trade partners from preconstruction through project completion. The team planned and executed work within a compact urban site bordered by the river and Water Street. Construction required complex excavation, earth retention, and infill work while maintaining site safety, schedule control, and efficient sequencing across multiple scopes. Greenfire managed logistics, coordinated material delivery within limited staging space, and maintained consistent communication among project partners to keep work progressing.

The project includes two four-story residential towers totaling 333,400 SF. The podium-style structures provide two levels of underground parking with stick-frame residential construction above. Rowe MKE delivers 205 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury apartments. Resident amenities include a saltwater pool and courtyard terrace, fitness center, co-working spaces, entertainment courtyard, pet spa and dog wash station, and a putting green. Greenfire also constructed a 500’ continuation of the public riverwalk, extending pedestrian access along the Milwaukee River and connecting the development to nearby retail, dining, and entertainment destinations.

Rowe MKE adds new housing along the Milwaukee River and expands the public riverwalk network. The project continues Greenfire’s work with Atlantic Residential and reinforces the firm’s experience delivering multi-family construction in dense urban environments with complex site conditions.
