Tribute Apartments - Milwaukee, WI

Construction of a new 95-unit mixed-use complex consisting of two buildings atop a podium with grade-level retail space, cafe, and restaurant as part of the R1VER development along the Kinnickinnic River. Due to site conditions, the entire development is supported by a network of over 400 piers. Greenfire was contracted to build the wood-framed multifamily structure atop the podium which was under contract with a separate contractor. Greenfire was involved early in preplanning to seamlessly transfer scope from podium construction manager and optimize design efficiencies which resulted in cost savings that allowed for finish upgrades. The project also required detailed site logistics and phasing coordination to ensure safety and disruption avoidance for tenants on a congested site within an active construction zone.
