The Locklyn at Olympia Fields Apartments is a new multi-family development located in the heart of Oconomowoc and is the first phase of the larger Olympia Fields redevelopment by Wangard Partners, which reimagines the former Olympia Resort and big-box retail site along Summit Avenue. The multi-phased project includes nine buildings and a clubhouse, offering studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans. Phase I consists of 178 units across 155,724 SF, while Phase II added 46 units over 50,690 SF.
Greenfire was brought on early in the project to support master planning, building layout, and construction sequencing. Construction of each building followed a tight nine-week schedule, with phased turnover every six weeks. Site work also included grading, access roads, and a retaining wall along the pond’s northern edge to support closer building placement.
Community amenities include a clubhouse with a full kitchen, outdoor pool with baja sun shelf, patio and fire table, off-leash dog park, grilling station, EV charging stations, and a fully equipped fitness center. Apartment features include private entries, balconies or patios, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, vaulted ceilings, and ample parking. Detailed site logistics and phased construction planning helped ensure safety and minimize disruptions throughout the build.
The Locklyn brings much needed housing to a growing community and serves as a key anchor of the redevelopment efforts throughout greater Oconomowoc.
