Brio Building - Oshkosh, WI

The Brio is new construction of a five-story mixed-use project including more than 10,000 SF of ground floor commercial space, 60 market-rate residential units, and associated parking. Initial earth work includes excavation of foundations along with installation of 267 geopiers to stabilize the soil and provide proper bearing to pour slab on grade. The building’s core consists of pre-cast walls and decking along with structural steel framing on the first floor and stick framing on the four floors above. The first floor houses the new Oshkosh Food Co-op which features two fully equipped kitchens and commercial-grade refrigeration and equipment along with a residential lobby, mail room and bike room. The build-out of the Co-op coincided with construction of the Brio requiring supervision of both projects simultaneously.
