Greenfire attended the AIA Wisconsin Conference + Expo on Architecture 2026, at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton. The conference theme, “Unbound: Architecture’s Untold Stories,” focused on how design, collaboration, and evolving roles shape the built environment. Programming was organized into four tracks—Intersections, Design, Evolve, and Amplify—each addressing coordination across disciplines, design process, shifting industry roles, and elevating perspectives within project teams. The event brought together architecture, engineering, and construction professionals to exchange ideas and build working relationships. Greenfire is also a scholarship sponsor for the Wisconsin Architects Foundation.
Greenfire team members Simmi Urbanek, Director of Marketing & Business Development, Maureen Carlson, Business Development Manager, and Bob Boelter, Marketing Coordinator, connected with architects, consultants, and industry peers throughout the conference. Conversations focused on early preconstruction involvement, coordination during design, and maintaining communication through construction. These discussions support alignment of scope, schedule, and budget across teams and reinforce the role of the construction manager as a partner during design development.
At the expo, Greenfire’s booth created a space for attendees and peers to stop, learn about Greenfire, or reconnect. The setup included a sterno “fire” where visitors could gather and roast s’mores over great conversations. The booth received a second-place award for best booth at the expo.
Greenfire continues to support projects across Wisconsin, including work in the Fox Valley region.
