Greenfire completed a two-part renovation at Potawatomi Carter Casino | Hotel, enhancing both the guest experience and gaming operations.
The project included finish upgrades to 39 guest rooms, including two rock & roll-themed suites featuring custom finishes, fireplaces, and private patios with pergolas. Design elements carried over from the recently completed Rock & Brews restaurant, with guitar neck door pulls and locally sourced rock-themed artwork.
On the casino floor, Greenfire renovated a 6,000 SF space to create a new smoking gaming area. The scope added 86 slot machines, a slot tech room, two offices, and a new lobby façade. A raised access floor system and negative air draw system were installed to improve flexibility and air quality. The new area also features 10 TVs and integrated entertainment synced with Rock & Brews.
Greenfire delivered both renovations ahead of schedule and under budget. By working closely with casino staff and subcontractors, the team minimized disruptions and overcame supply chain challenges—most notably reducing a 14-week sliding door lead time to just 2 weeks. Additional cost savings were realized by repurposing chandeliers from Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee.
The result is a refreshed and upgraded experience for guests and staff, supporting the Forest County Potawatomi Community’s continued investment in its Carter property.
