Complete demolition down to structural shell of the existing building located in a compact, high-profile environment requiring detailed preplanning to coordinate site logistics and maintain a safe, productive jobsite. The build-out of the two-story building houses an optometry clinic on the first floor with additional retail and commercial space on lower and second levels. New construction consists of steel-stud framing, new windows, and new MEP fixtures in addition to fire protection system. The project team relocated an existing stairwell to open up the showroom floor and installed a new ADA-compliant lift giving patrons access to all three levels. Exterior work includes complete tuckpoint of the façade, installation of customized storefront with new windows and frame, and a new parking lot.
