Greenfire provided construction management services for Badger Mutual Insurance’s relocation from 635 W. National Ave. to a new, modern office within The 42 at 1134 N. 9th St. The new space was designed to promote flexibility, collaboration, and employee wellness. It features an open-concept layout, a training dock lounge area with gaming devices and a golf simulator, “campfire areas” with couches and TVs, and mobile work options such as a social staircase and treadmill desk.

The project required coordination of multiple tenant relocations to ensure a seamless transition and avoid disruptions to operations. Work was completed in a highly active environment on a fast-tracked 120-day schedule, requiring precise planning and detailed understanding of the building’s operational constraints. Strong collaboration between the owner, RINKA+ as project architect, consultants, tenants, and trades was key to the project’s success.
