Atlantic Residential celebrated the ribbon cutting for Rowe MKE, a new luxury apartment community along the Milwaukee River on the city’s East Side. With construction managed by Greenfire, the project marks the second phase of the River House development and continues the transformation of Milwaukee’s riverfront into a vibrant residential destination.
The ribbon cutting was attended by project partners, stakeholders, and residents. Leadership from Atlantic Residential and the Rowe MKE management team shared remarks recognizing the collective effort that brought the project to completion. They thanked Greenfire for its leadership, guidance, and collaboration throughout construction, noting the teamwork and communication that helped deliver the project safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards for their residents. The festivities included live music, delicious eats and refreshments poolside in the courtyard.
Following the success of River House Phase I, Greenfire managed the construction of two additional four-story towers totaling 333,400 SF. The podium-style structures include two levels of underground parking. The project team maintained progress through tight site conditions and urban constraints, including complex excavation and infill work along Water Street in Milwaukee.
Rowe MKE introduces 205 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed by HKM Architects + Planners, Inc. The development features amenities including a saltwater pool, terrace, fitness center, co-working spaces, pet spa, and entertainment courtyard. The development includes a putting green and dog washing station, expanding the variety of amenities for residents.
In addition to the new towers, Greenfire completed a 500’ continuation of the public riverwalk that links the property to downtown Milwaukee’s retail and entertainment corridor. The riverwalk enhances access to the city’s waterfront and further connects the community to nearby neighborhoods. The completion of Rowe MKE extends Greenfire’s partnership with Atlantic Residential and reinforces the firm’s expertise in multi-family construction and complex urban projects.
