Unfortunately, the unseasonably warm October made Greenfire’s Annual Chili Cook-off that much hotter!
Between our Milwaukee and Wausau office, this year Greenfire fielded nine completely unique and delicious chili concoctions to choose from, and had our team vote on their favorite!
The competition was fiery with stout entries like “The Cincinnati Sin”, “Always Yummy in Chiledelphia” and “Toads Smokin’ Sweet Heat” … but the winning chilis were Ed Person’s “Protein Potpourri” at our Milwaukee office, and Sherrie Harenda’s “Tasty Traditional with Noodles” was the champion in Wausau.
Big thank you to Cheryl Bousquet and Sherrie Harenda for planning, organizing and hosting the cook-offs at each office. They organize all our chili chefs, purchase the tasty condiments and set up and clean up the event. They also serve as the official score keepers and announcers for the event.
Congratulations to our Chili Champions and all contestants for helping Greenfire heat things up!
