Greenfire hosted a field trip for team members from both offices to visit the Forest County Potawatomi Reservation and tour several facilities. The first stop was in Carter to visit the ceremonial Pow Wow Grounds and view progress of the current construction phase along with the award-winning masonry work from the previous phase. The next stop was up the road at The Flames restaurant in the Potawatomi Carter Casino & Hotel to meet with members of the FCP Executive Council and sample menu items. The team then traveled a short distance to the Potawatomi Reservation in Crandon. This stop included a tour of the Cultural Center and library and walk through the recently completed renovation of the museum. The trip ended with a guided tour of the new Community Center where the team met program leaders and other members of the Community. In all, the field trip served as a great way for our team to learn more about our Ownership, the FCP Community, and its history. It was also rewarding to view first-hand Greenfire’s construction efforts for the Tribe and the use of each building.
