Greenfire is proud to continue our support for our friends and neighbors at the Center For Veterans Issues, Inc. (CVI). CVI provides services for over 1,000 Veterans and helps improve their quality of life. One of their most important efforts is The Heroes Market Pantry, and Greenfire supported CVI with a supply drive!
CVI’s mission is to provide housing and supportive services to help improve the quality of life for all Veterans, their families, and the communities in which they live and serve. CVI also supports the concerns of veterans by providing information, resources, identification of funding, technical assistance and organizational development to veteran service organizations. CVI also provides transitional housing to homeless veterans, while offering many services to help veterans transition back into the community. The CVI created The Heros Market Pantry to help Veterans in the community with food supplies and clothing in a time of need.
During the month of November and in honor of Veterans Day, Greenfire, along with support from Potawatomi Ventures, Data Holdings Data Center and the Wgema Campus Facilities team, held our annual drive that provided over $2,600.00 in donations including winter clothing, gift cards and toiletries to CVI’s Heroes Market.
At Greenfire, giving back is just part of what we do. Community is one of our core values and we live by it every year as we make positive contributions to the organizations around our communities. Teaming up with local community-based organizations not only supports their missions, but helps us build, maintain, and grow our best team. Support of our charitable organizations takes many forms as we host and coordinate drives, sponsor community-based events, and collect in-kind and monetary donations. Our assistance for charitable organizations includes promotion of the organization through partnerships, sponsorships, and volunteerism.
We’re proud to donate to help our neighbors and friends at the CVI. Their efforts help make sure our Veterans and their families don’t go hungry, and their basic needs are met!
