Greenfire Hits the Links

Construction projects are built on strong relationships long before work begins in the field. Industry events provide opportunities for construction managers, economic developers, owners, design professionals, and business leaders to connect, share ideas, and strengthen partnerships that lead to successful projects.

Greenfire recently participated in two golf outings that brought together clients, industry partners, and regional organizations across Wisconsin. These events offered valuable interactions to build relationships, discuss upcoming developments, and stay engaged with the markets Greenfire serves.

The team participated in the 12th Annual Schmidt Custom Floors Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course, which raised funds for Zachariah’s Acres and the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin. Supporting events like these allows Greenfire to strengthen industry relationships while contributing to organizations making a meaningful difference for Wisconsin families.

Greenfire also participated in the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing as a beverage cart sponsor. Maureen Carlson, business development manager, represented Greenfire throughout the event, connecting with business owners, developers, municipal leaders, and design professionals. Maureen serves on the board for CENTERGY – which supports economic development in central Wisconsin – and was accompanied by Angel Laidlaw, president and CEO. CENTERGY.

Conversations at industry events often lead to new partnerships, early collaboration opportunities, and a better understanding of local market priorities before projects enter design or construction. Those relationships support smoother communication and stronger project outcomes once work begins.

As a construction management firm serving central Wisconsin and communities across the state, Greenfire values opportunities to engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and business organizations throughout the year. Whether supporting a charitable fundraiser or participating in a regional business event, these connections help build the trusted partnerships that drive successful projects.
