Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for a Superintendent. The Superintendent is an integral part of the team and is responsible to plan, schedule and manage field operations of assigned projects, supervise subcontractor labor, manage site logistics and coordinate delivery of materials to successfully complete projects. The Superintendent reports to the Project Manager. With offices located in Milwaukee and Wausau, WI, we are working on projects all over Wisconsin. Greenfire was founded in 2010, Greenfire is a wholly-owned company of Potawatomi Ventures, the investment arm of the Forest County Potawatomi Community, and as such, maintains minority contractor status.

OPPORTUNITIES
As a Superintendent at Greenfire, you’ll be the driving force behind our field operations, ensuring every detail of the construction process is executed with precision and excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Leadership: Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities in alignment with project documents, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and enforce both short- and long-term project schedules. Coordinate subcontractor labor, site logisƟcs, and material deliveries to maintain a clear and efficient workflow.
  • Communication & Documentation: Maintain seamless communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. Manage RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes, and lead regular project meetings.
  • Quality & Compliance: Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance. Drive the successful completion of punch lists and quality control processes.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce Greenfire’s zero-tolerance safety standards, creating a secure and compliant job site environment.
  • Problem Solving & Outreach: Ability to anticipate and identify potential issues and provide solutions.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with multiple departments, demonstrating resourcefulness and a team-first mindset.

EDUCATION

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with journeyman level trade experience, Foreman experience is preferred, or a technical certificate or engineering degree from an accredited college; and
  • Experience: 5+ years managing large-scale construction projects as a site superintendent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Deep knowledge of construction methods and the ability to visualize the end product from the start.
  • Mindset: Client-focused, solution-oriented, and committed to excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires the ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the company’s interests in mind.
  • Requires excellent knowledge of the means and methods and be able to envision the finished product at inception.
  • Must possess good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English, to interact with owners, subcontractors and fellow employees, write and read reports and make presentations as required.
