Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for a Project Development Manager. This position is responsible for the management and client interface for projects from pursuit through the commencement of construction. The Project Development Manager for Greenfire reports to the Director of Preconstruction.

 OPPORTUNITIES

Management

  • Provide industry leading preconstruction services to clients through integrated management of internal and external project teams.
  • Provide exceptionally high level of communication to internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Manage and provide bidding and estimating efforts from project inception through contract pricing. Includes conceptual estimating through bidding efforts.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage accountability of project stakeholders to project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Lead the communication workflow to disseminate background information and provide context to the direction(s) taken.
  • Organize project documentation and assist with the improvement of the respective processes.
  • Collectively identify project risks and provide potential remedies.

  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in a prudent and ethical manner.

  • Communicate early with project team when outside factors may potentially affect deadlines.
  • Perform duties or task assigned by the Director of Preconstruction and Preconstruction Managers.
  • Be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the Company’s interests in mind.
  • Speak at meetings.
  • Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a background in estimating and/or project management.
  • Knowledgeable of tools needed to produce an accurate estimate or bid.
  • Knowledgeable in aspects of current construction means & methods including, but not limited to, scheduling, cost estimating, and project management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Able to approach work with a positive attitude while always keeping the Company’s interests in mind.
  • Has extensive knowledge of construction means/methods.
  • Understands and can apply knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, and project management
  • Exceptionally high level of ethical character.
