What does the Internship include?

As an intern at Greenfire, students are empowered to thrive in a dynamic learning environment that provides invaluable hands-on experience. This immersive opportunity equips you with critical skills essential for success in construction management, setting the stage for your future career growth.

Simply put - we give you the opportunity to learn and grow.

Through this paid internship, you get mentorship from a project management team or an in-house department. Training may include: Safety Training and Certification (OSHA 30), and Software training could include: Procore, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Destini Estimator, On-Screen Takeoff, Pantera Bidding, and Adobe Creative Suite. As part of the Greenfire team, you also get to participate in our Annual Company-wide Training day. These initiatives are designed to empower our team members by enhancing leadership skills, fostering collaboration, and strengthening teamwork.

What skills will construction interns learn?
Through valuable hands-on experience, Greenfire’s internship program is designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge in the following areas:

· Cost Estimating & Bidding
· Planning and Scheduling
· RFI/Submittal/Procurement Process
· Trade Knowledge

  • To ensure their success, each intern is equipped with a comprehensive 3-6-9 week plan that sets forth clear, measurable goals. This structured approach empowers them to make significant contributions during their time with us.
  • We offer enriching monthly lunch-and-learn sessions that explore a diverse array of topics, fostering continuous learning and professional growth within our team.
  • At the end of their internship, all interns receive a thorough performance appraisal that provides constructive feedback and acknowledges their valuable contributions to the organization. This ensures they leave with a clear understanding of their strengths and areas for development, setting them up for future success.
  • We invite our interns to engage in a meaningful reflection of their experiences, encouraging them to share valuable lessons learned and constructive feedback. This input is vital for helping Greenfire enhance and elevate our program, ensuring it remains impactful and enriching for future participants.
