Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for an Estimator who would be responsible to produce accurate and complete job estimates that will return the planned profit to the Company.  The Estimator for Greenfire reports to and is fully accountable to the Director of Preconstruction.

 OPPORTUNITIES

  • Interface with the architects, engineers, subcontractors, developers, and city officials as necessary with specifications and
  • Develop preconstruction and construction schedules with Owner, Architect and Construction
  • Remain as the single individual responsible for the successful pricing of the projects.
  • Present and review bids with the Director of Preconstruction Services.

  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in a prudent and ethical manner.
  • Respond timely to customer issues.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service to clients. Anticipates and reacts to client requests and needs.
  • Communicate early with project team when outside factors may potentially affect deadlines.
  • Perform duties or task assigned by the Director of Preconstruction and Preconstruction Managers.
  • Be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the Company’s interests in mind.
  • Speak at meetings.
  • Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a High School GED equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry with a background in estimating and/or project management.
  • Knowledgeable of tools needed to produce an accurate estimate or bid.
  • Knowledgeable in aspects of current construction means & methods including, but not limited to, scheduling, cost estimating, and project management.
