Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for an Estimator who would be responsible to produce accurate and complete job estimates that will return the planned profit to the Company. The Estimator for Greenfire reports to and is fully accountable to the Director of Preconstruction.

OPPORTUNITIES

Management

Maintain alliance of and nurture the relationships within Project Teams as well as with subcontractors.
Remain as the single individual responsible for the successful pricing of the projects.
Ensure that all activities are conducted in a prudent and ethical manner.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Maintain open lines of communication within the department and communicate early with project team when outside factors may potentially affect deadlines.
Maintain an exceptional level of service to clients. Anticipate and react to client requests and needs in a timely manner.

Collaboration

Present and review bids with the Director of Preconstruction Services.
Orchestrate architects, engineers, subcontractors, developers and city officials to ensure goals of the projects are met.
Interface with architects, engineers, subcontractors, developers, and city officials as necessary with specifications and ideas.
Develop preconstruction and construction schedules with Owner, Architect and Construction team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a High School GED equivalent and minimum of 5 years of experience working for a construction manager or general contractor in an estimating and/or project management role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the Company’s interests in mind.
Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
