As a project manager, you will be responsible for multiple projects, communicating with clients and subcontractors, negotiating costs and schedules and overseeing the success of the team. The right person will work out of Greenfire's Milwaukee office and be willing to travel to jobsites regularly.

Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for a Project Manager.  The Project Manager is an integral part of the team and is responsible for the overall management of projects from preconstruction to final acceptance.  The Project Manager for Greenfire reports to the Director of Construction.  The project Superintendent(s) and Project Engineer(s) report to the Project Manager.

With offices located in Milwaukee and Wausau, WI, we are working on projects all over Wisconsin, and from Iowa to Michigan.

Greenfire was founded in 2010, Greenfire is a wholly-owned company of the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation, the investment arm of the Forest County Potawatomi Community, and as such, maintains minority contractor status.

OPPORTUNITIES

Management:

  • Maintaining alliance of and nurturing the relationships within the Project Team.
  • Facilitating the project documents while assuring the respective compliance.
  • Orchestrating the project tracking means/methods to ensure timely reporting to internal and external parties.
  • Managing project risk proactively.
  • Closing out the project and establishing touchpoints with the client to address warranty items and to anchor long-term relationships.

 Outreach:

  • Actively seeks new opportunities for work.
  • Completes assigned tasks to support sales efforts.
  • Participates in the interview and RFP process for new work.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

  • Assists estimating with bidding for future assigned projects.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the details of the project.
  • Contacts subcontractors to solicit interest in projects being bid.
  • Reviews final plans and estimates with estimator prior to submission.

 

EDUCATION

  • Requires a BS in construction management/engineering or a BS in a related field complimented by appropriate/applicable experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The mental capacity for spatial comprehension.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents.
  • Ability to guide, direct and coordinator the work of multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • A dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the company’s interests in mind.
