The PE is an integral part of the team who will be responsible for assisting the Project Management Team (PMT) with preconstruction, construction management and administration tasks. Position Overview

Greenfire Management Services, LLC is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer (PE).

With offices located in Milwaukee and Wausau, WI, we are working on projects all over Wisconsin, and from Iowa to Michigan.

Greenfire was founded in 2010, Greenfire is a wholly-owned company of the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation, the investment arm of the Forest County Potawatomi Community, and as such, maintains minority contractor status.

OPPORTUNITIES

Project Pursuit & Kick-Off:

  • Gaining an in-depth experience with the assembly of a bid/budget while participating in all aspects of that process.
  • Establishing new relationships in the subcontractor market via outreach and assembly of project bid lists.
  • Participating in the set-up of a project including the triggering of Procore, drafting of subcontracts, soliciting input for the project schedule and helping to oversee overall communication flow.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of project plans and specifications.
  • Facilitating regular touchpoints and action plans for both internal and external parties.

Project Execution:

  • Working alongside (and with mentorship from) the Project Management Team (PMT).
  • Preparing change orders, subcontract change orders and other documents.
  • Working with the PMT to prepare and distribute meeting minutes, RFI’s, RFP’s and notices to Subcontractors and Owners.
  • Processing shop drawings, submittals, design clarifications, project supplements, safety inspection reports, subcontractor and supplier billings and Owner draw requests to ensure
    they are properly processed.
  • Assisting the PMT to collect all required project closeout information.

EDUCATION

  • Requires a BS in construction management/engineering or a BS in a related field complimented
    by appropriate/applicable experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time.
  • Proven organizational skills, ability to plan, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented and keeps the company’s interests in mind.
